Thank you to everyone who has followed my blog and engaged with my posts this year. You are the reason I write.

I must admit, it feels like no one is listening at times, but those are the moments when I picture just one. One soul searching for a word of encouragement to lift their spirit. To help pull them out of a downward spiral, to help them find their way back to that place atop of their world where they know they belong. I see you. That’s why I write.

I’ll be driving in my car, taking my morning walk, sitting at my desk working on a project, when I suddenly sense these words taking shape in my soul. I can see myself having an intimate conversation with the one I’m writing to. Sometimes I can see their tears, I can feel their pain. And now my tears flow. Now my soul is moved. And I write.

When this mystical encounter comes to a close in my mind’s eye, so do the words. And so…
