Don’t be so hard on yourself for being so hard on yourself.

Holding yourself to a higher standard is a gift not a curse, and a lost art form if I might add. Perfectionism (in a positive light) isn’t an enemy; it’s fuel. An inner fire that keeps you striving for more, for better.

Don’t beat yourself up for wanting to do better or be more. Shake it off, raise the bar, and reach higher. You can always have more because you can become more.

Ask yourself, “How many things can I accomplish in this lifetime?”

Make a list, then go after them. Check them off as you go. Celebrate what you do every day. Then remind yourself there’s still more in you, and there’s still more to do.

When do you stop striving?

When do stop checking things off your list? Answer — When there’s no more breath in you. Until then, get busy. Someone’s waiting on you to be fully you. Not half you. Not the settled you. Not the you who everyone says or thinks you should be. No! Someone’s waiting on your full monty!
